Environmental Impact

Our emission reduction plan is focused on renewables, waste reduction, low-carbon transportation choices, and fostering a sustainable supply chain.

 

In addition to establishing a net zero by 2050 target and submitting our near-term and long-term targets to the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative), we achieved ISO 14001 Certification for ASGN’s headquarters in Glen Allen, Virginia. We are also currently piloting two programs as integral aspects of our greenhouse gas (“GHG”) emissions reduction plan, including a sustainable employee commuting program and a sustainable supply chain program.

Environmental Responsibility
In 2023 we established a net zero by 2050 target, and we have a near-term emission reduction target of 55 percent by 2030 from our 2019 baseline.
Our Emissions
Our GHG emission source categories include energy consumption, employee business travel, employee commuting, and procurement.

Our Approach

We continue to report to multiple ESG reporting frameworks and obtain third-party assurance of our GHG inventory annually. As our building leases expire, we are seeking leases in energy efficient Class A and LEED buildings with renewable energy.  We are also actively engaging in waste reduction and encouraging our employees to participate.
